The Return of “Bob Recommends”

December 30th, 2006 Bob Comments

Bob Stovall Recommends
Thanks to popular demand, the “Bob Recommends” feature has been brought over from the old website and is now available in the new BobStovall.com Blog. Every item featured in “Bob Recommends” is used by us here at BobStovall.com or on one of our sister sites, such as OrangeCat.com,AREIP.org, YourKentuckyHome.com or on sites that we maintain for others – in other words, these are all products we have tested and found to do the job we needed them to do – and do them well.

We have big plans for 2007 here at BobStovall.com, so stick around and share some of the excitement.

Christmas in New York

December 25th, 2006 Bob Comments

The top-rated TV show in New York City between 8 and 10 a.m. on Christmas morning, 2002? A continuous video loop of a burning Yule-log. (Harpers, Jan. 2003)

No matter what you are watching this morning, I just wanted to take a moment to wish you and your families a Very Merry Christmas – and for those of you who don’t celebrate Christmas, we wish you peace, love and prosperity.

We’ll be taking the next few days off to celebrate the holidays with our friends and families. See you in a few days!

Health Insurance Costs Up 10% – AGAIN???

December 23rd, 2006 Bob Comments

I don’t know about you, but as a small business I can barely afford what my and my wife’s insurance cost last year – and now I get notified that it is going up 10% again next year.

That will come to $950 per month for health insurance for two people. Pardon, me but I think that is outlandish. What percentage of your monthly income is going to health insurance? Before you answer, think of the tax burden caused by those who can’t afford insurance and then go to the emergency room for routine treatment. The price of health insurance and taxes are inextricably tied to one another.

I happen to live in Kentucky, which is a health care basket case, but I know that the problem exists all over the country. The health care system in the US is sliding into the toilet faster than any of us can imagine.

What chance does General Motors have to survive when $1500+ of every car’s price goes to pay for health care benefits (another indirect tax on healthcare by the way)? They can’t –and they won’t unless something is done to clean up the sorry state of American health care.

I am not an insurance expert. I don’t have an answer to the problem. But somebody out there needs to take the bull by the horns and solve it. Massachusetts has taken a bold step in trying. I don’t know (and I don’t care) whether you like what they have implemented, but at least they are DOING something.

Maybe if members if the new Congress can take their hands out of our pockets for a few minutes, they could come up with an idea to help make the market for health insurance healthy again.

End of rant.

Free Video reveals secrets of Armand Morin’s new keyword generating software

December 20th, 2006 Bob Comments

Sorry, no image
Just introduced yesterday, Armand Morin’s GeoKeyGenerator is being hailed as essential to producing localized keyword phrases for use in Google AdWords, Yahoo Search Marketing, MSN adCenter.

Don’t waste your money on untargeted Pay per Click (PPC) ads when you can target by city state and country.

Those of you who are familiar with Armand Morin’s Generator software know that he offers high quality products at a fair price. We at BobStovall.com use several Generator products and I am sure we will be using his latest one for both ourselves and our clients.

This software is the first of it’s kind and finally gives the end user the ability to:

  • Turn one keyword into over 65,000 of the most profitable and 100% targeted keyword phrases in less than 10 seconds
  • Target your traffic by city, state and country!
  • Target traffic for over 50 countries around the world
  • Create keyword lists of cities based on population
  • Instantly append or prepend your keywords with states or state abbreviations
  • Make your keywords 100% Google Adwords friendly in minutes
  • and so much more!

This software appeals to any marketer advertising any product using PPC.

It instantly gives them the ability to create much more targeted keyword lists that have been proven to be much cheaper (and more profitable) than trying to market using general words.

Charlie Brown Christmas

December 14th, 2006 Bob Comments

A picture named snoopy.gif
One day shortly before Christmas in 1965, “Peanuts” producer Lee Mendelson approached Charles M. Schulz with a bit of good news. “I think I just sold ‘A Charlie Brown Christmas’ to CBS,” he declared.

“What’s that?” Schulz asked. “It’s a Charlie Brown Christmas show,” Mendelson replied, “which you’ll have to write in the next four days!”
